Chris Scott

Chris Scott (b. 1963, Pittsburgh, PA) makes art using a variety of materials and mediums to create art works drawing inspiration from second hand treasures, cherished mementos and bits of memory. Her work explores her inner workings, mediated by a snarky sense of humor and a commitment to self honesty. Mark and shape making, color from vibrating to slightly more subtle, and the tactile act of assemblage are her investigative process. Her imagery is fiercely funny and poetic creating opportunity for the viewer’s playful introspection.

Chris’ artwork was featured in ‘Tout Le Monde’ on view August 9-31, 2025.

“Part of Chris’ Monster series, these 2 works exemplify visceral visual delight in her imagery and form.”
