Christopher Vigue
Christopher Vigue (b. 1992) is a photographer with a crave to preserve our transient life. He is a self taught artist born in Nashua, New Hampshire. His passion began to take shape with his first move away from home to San Francisco, California, where he spent his time forming a bond to
the medium. Using both film and digital photography to tell his story, he is most recognized by his use of monochrome to freeze time.
For his personal work, he has been producing photographs for a project titled “Believe in Angels”. In this collection, Vigue focuses on capturing fleeting moments that can be typically taken for granted.
Christopher’s artwork was featured in ‘Feral Beauty’ on view July 11-31, 2026.
My “Believe In Angels” body of work started out by being inspired by bootleg religious ephemera. A fading blue bumper sticker that read, “Do You Believe in Angels?” briefly had me asking myself that exact question. While blending landscape photography and borrowing techniques from photographing the streets, the concept was to capture the magic in moments that present themselves to me. These photographs balance chaos and clarity, most
importantly leaving a little room for the imagination.
While viewing this work, I ask… “What is an Angel to you?”
