“These paintings explore constrained joy – the space in between expression and resistance when good things begin to emerge. The marks carry urgency and the color pushes outward. But something interrupts their arc – like a lurking friction that redirects and pushes into our path. What remains is a kind of suspension – a dance of competing movements – that never fully resolves. My hope is the absence of resolution invites connection and exploration.”
