Katherine Derosier

Kate Derosier (b. 1991, Exeter, NH) spent a lot of time and effort trying not to be an artist – even completing an entire Ph.D. in neuroscience. After taking time off work to have kids, she realized that what she missed wasn’t science, but the creative work she had been telling myself could only ever be a hobby.

For the past several years, she has been focusing on painting, using classes and self-study to push her work beyond the fundamentals she learned in college art classes.

Katherine’s artwork was featured in ‘Hi Neighbor!‘ on view August 8-30, 2026.
